Abbaye Saint-Eusèbe Venue

In the Calcaïques hills above Marseille, this former Benedictine monastery dates to the eleventh century with later Gothic and Baroque layers, a Romanesque chapel with barrel-vaulted ceiling remaining the spiritual center while cloisters and cells have converted to event spaces and guest rooms. The venue holds seventy to one hundred sixty guests and retains the monastic logic of processional sequences and the quality of light filtered through deeply recessed stone openings that characterize medieval sacred space.
